Face-to-face Counselling in Staffordshire and Online throughout the UK

About Me

I am a highly experienced counsellor who has supported NHS employees, whilst also working for a domestic abuse charity, a hospice and children’s charities. I work with adults, and young people.

Some of the issues I have helped my clients with include: anxiety, bereavement, bullying, childhood trauma, depression, domestic abuse, eating disorders, family dynamics, illness, OCD, relationships, resilience, retirement, redundancy, school concerns, self-esteem, stress, trauma, and work-life balance.

I am an accredited member of the NCPS as well as a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and am bound by their code of ethics and practice.

Although my background is in psychodynamic counselling, I work integratively dependant upon the needs of each individual client. I also hold an integrative diploma for working with Children and Young People.

I hold professional indemnity insurance and am registered with the ICO (SB603201). I have an enhanced DBS and subscribe to the update service.

I work weekdays, weekends and evenings face-to-face in Stoke-on-Trent and remotely over Zoom or by telephone throughout the UK.

As your counsellor, my aim is to provide a safe, warm, genuine, nurturing and confidential space for you to explore your feelings and emotions at a pace that is comfortable for you. I am keen to ensure that you get exactly what you need from therapy and achieve the most out of every session.

Together we can explore your background to see if there are any thoughts or behaviour patterns that have led you to where you are today. I work integratively which means we will work collaboratively to discover the best way to help you process your issues and move forward with your life. You choose what is best for you.

Speak in Confidence

Your counselling will take place in a confidential, and safe space. I will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgment. In the therapy space your thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.

A problem shared...

Anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings, relationship issues or depression - many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get control of. Counselling helps to gain a better understanding of what is causing these problems - and when you are ready, how you can move towards managing or resolving them.

Make better, healthier new choices

By working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward. Every client is unique and it is up to you to decide when you are ready.
